DEUSCHLAND TOURISM - CASTLES IN AR

In this WebAR app you can bring 4 of Germany's most beautiful castles into your home. View the architecture from all sides and you can also scale the building as you wish. The application was created as part of a tourist campaign to promote Germany as a destination for foreign countries.

The 3D scan data used to create the castles was elaborately created using photogrammetry technology via drone footage. The special challenge here was that the resulting AR file could not be larger than 5MB in order to function as an AD on Instagram and Facebook.
